Design and Build Works for Mains Sewer Connection at High Lodge (#REQ-170)
The works comprise the detailed design, construction, testing and commissioning of a new foul sewer system to replace the existing on site sewage treatment arrangements at High Lodge. The works include the provision of an approximately 2,037 m foul sewer system, comprising: • Rising/pumping main • gravity sewer main • pumping station • holding tank • a connection to the existing Anglian Water foul sewer network.
Connection of High Lodge Forest Centre to the mains sewer, approximately 2.4 km from the current discharge point. A Section 106 agreement with Anglian Water is already in place, and a preferred route for the connection has been identified. This is a significant infrastructure project that we anticipate delivering during 2026/27.
