The initial DPS period is for 8 years (96 months) and can be extended perpetually by period(s) of up to 8 years (96 months). The Council reserves the right to close the DPS at any point.

 DN539268-19 Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) - Post Mortems and Associated Services 25/04/2029 12:00 01/09/2021 25/04/2029 01/04/2027 £6,000,000.00 The Council has a legal obligation to provide post-mortem (PM) and mortuary facilities under The Coroners and Justice Act (2009) working closely with the Lincolnshire HM Coroner's Service. Of the deaths reported to the Coroner, approx. 1300 each year require a post mortem, equating to 40% of reportable deaths. The DPS seeks to let contracts to a number of suppliers who shall provide post mortems and associated mortuary facilities for: • 1,300 – 2,000 PMs per year • Histology and Toxicology where required • Provision of PM reports • Swift TATs to ensure that the deceased are returned in a timely fashion
