ENQ991 - Online Booking and Learning Platform for DDSCP (#REQ-5152)
Replacement of ENQ544 - This is going to be a VEAT notice due to lack of competition and other specific requirements that we believe only this supplier can provide.
The Derby and Derbyshire Safeguarding Children Partnership (“DDSCP”) is the multi-agency safeguarding arrangement representing the statutory partners: Derby City Council, Derbyshire County Council, Derbyshire Police and Derbyshire Integrated Care Board. Derby City Council is required to comply with regulations, along with other statutory partners of the Safeguarding Children Partnership, to ensure that effective safeguarding arrangements are in place locally, including the provision of training. The DDSCP provides multi-agency training. All agencies book their training through the online learning management system (LMS) that is provided by PHEW (the supplier). The LMS was procured in 2019 and subsequent review of the service indicates that PHEW provide specifically a system that delivers the required specialist online portal and the DDSCP is currently in process of extending the service to include charging for training. There is no alternative supplier and we currently have 11K registered professionals accessing training through the LMS
