The key reasons for requesting a waiver, are:
• There is no alternative supplier.
• All costs are recharged so there is no cost to LCCC other than the use of the EHCP consult process.
• It has proved an invaluable way to get the data LCC needs for its statutory duty to track young people and increase participation. We are able to use PS16 identify those year 11 leavers who do not have an offer of learning and to try and get one in place.
