TD2217 - Bus real time information displays (#REQ-5638)
Additional real time information (RTI) displays are required to complete the TCF Strategic Corridors scheme.
The procurement includes for purchasing and installing the displays and maintaining them for a 5-year period.
Locations are:
• additional displays in the City Centre
• some smaller displays to install on narrow footways
• some additional displays on the Sinfin Lane corridor where our consultant missed some stops in the original scoping exercise
• 3 x 28” stretch format solar displays to be installed in shelters adjacent to and opposite the Council House and a third display at the Arena
• a trial of the flag style post mounted e-paper solar displays.
The expenditure of £200,000 can be accommodated within the agreed forecast for the project.
The displays will be purchased with a call-off contract using a framework for real time displays adopted by all four D2N2 authorities through a collaboration agreement.
